On May 31, Gov. Inslee extended the moratorium on service disconnects and late fees through July 28 for all energy, landline telephone, and water utilities.
Governor Inslee has issued Proclamation 20-23, pertaining to Utility Ratepayer Assistance and Preservation of Essential Services. Liberty Lake Sewer and Water District District is committed to keeping our customers connected to essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. If you are experiencing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be eligible for support, including long-term payment arrangements or bill assistance. This Proclamation does not relieve customers from the obligation to pay for utility services.
The District does not have a direct utility assistance program, but there are a number of utility assistance programs in Spokane County. The District compiled a list of some of the assistance programs in Spokane County.
The District is not affiliated with these organizations; this list of programs has been compiled as a reference for your convenience.
LLSWD will not terminate service to any account, charge late fees, or file any new liens during this time of hardship. If you are experiencing financial hardship and are unable to pay your utility bill due to COVID-19, please call our office at (509) 922-5443.
