Attention Liberty Lake residents and visitors,

Starting June 27, 2025, you may notice a large drill rig near Ace Hardware. This equipment is part of a project to drill a new 24-inch municipal water supply well for the Liberty Lake Sewer and Water District. The well will be drilled 200 feet into the Spokane Valley-Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer.

Drilling operations will continue intermittently over the next month, including some weekends. During this period, you may experience construction noise, dust, and observe large quantities of water being pumped into a containment pit during testing.

Once completed, this new well will enhance our water supply, providing an additional 3,000 gallons per minute to meet the maximum daily demand for our community.
